Ranch Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon onion powder {the dried Green Onion works well too}


Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil Dressing

3/8 sprig fresh oregano (1 teaspoon dried = 1 sprig)
3/8 sprig fresh thyme
1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste


Creamy Blue Cheese

5 ounces blue cheese
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons buttermilk
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper


Homemade Italian Dressing

1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon crushed chili pepper
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

Mix all ingredients together well. Store in an airtight bottle or jar.  Chill several hours before serving. Shake well before serving.


Thousand Island Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
Dash of seasoning salt


French Salad Dressing

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt

In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth. Store in the refrigerator.
